Taeko is the Correspondent Community Lending Director – Responsible for the development and implementation of the Correspondent Community Lending Program (CLP), working with Correspondent Client to participate in our program which contributes to the Firm’s Fair Lending Goals and Racial Equity Commitment.

Prior to becoming the Executive Director for Community Lending in January 2022, Taeko was a Correspondent Relationship Manager for CLP in October of 2020, and assisted with the development and implementation for the CLP Program covering our smaller Independent Mortgage Bankers. Prior to her current role, she served as a Correspondent Account Executive covering B2B client relationships in the East division for 13 years at Chase, and was awarded Home Lending National Achiever in 2009 Taeko began her mortgage career as an Underwriter in 1986 and throughout her tenure, Taeko obtained a diverse knowledge of mortgage banking which includes underwriting, operations management, wholesale lending, mortgage insurance and correspondent lending. Taeko was a charter member of the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women and served as local chapter President as well as the National Board Director and was awarded a Kentucky Colonel at the annual convention in 1999. Taeko continues to participate in industry functions, including the Mortgage Bankers Association. Taeko is a 1982 graduate of SUNY Oneonta with a BA in Sociology/Psychology and a 1991 graduate of the National School of Banking at Fairfield University in CT. Taeko grew up in Brooklyn New York and now lives in Western NY in the Beautiful Finger Lakes area with her husband and three very independent cats.

Mr. Gardner is responsible for fulfilling Freddie Mac’s community mission to provide sustainable homeownership education and financing to families who are traditionally underserved by the market. He is also responsible for overseeing Freddie Mac’s delivery and performance against Single-Family Affordable Housing goals, Duty to Serve regulation and Access to Credit activities in the FHFA Scorecard. He leads our engagement with state and local housing finance agencies, diverse and inclusive realtor associations and national and local community development organizations to establish partnerships and programs that create successful homeowners. With Freddie Mac since 2015, Mr. Gardner brings over 30 years of mortgage banking experience to his role. He has spent most of his career in leadership positions focused on providing opportunities for families to buy their first homes. He is a former leader of CRA Lending for the mortgage businesses of Citibank and Capital One and was previously chief operating officer of the National Community Stabilization Trust, where he helped municipalities and nonprofit organizations reclaim neighborhoods devastated by the foreclosure crisis. Sherri Goodman has been with Ocwen Financial Corporation for eight years, and currently leads the global servicing contact center operations of PHH Mortgage.

Prior to her time at Ocwen, Sherri led customer service and collections operations for Ally Financial’s auto finance business, and worked in many operational leadership roles for ten years at Capital One Financial. Julas was a member of the Fort Worth Mortgage Bankers Association’s executive board for three years, serving as its President from 2019 to 2020. Julas earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Texas A&M University with a double major in Accounting and Finance. Julas also obtained an MBA from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business. Julas grew up as a “military brat”, graduating high school in Ramstein, Germany. Doug’s 35+ years in the industry have been dedicated to the development and execution of liquidity solutions in the secondary market. In his roles prior to joining Phoenix, Doug headed business development for Roundpoint’s MSR acquisitions, led sales, marketing, and business development for Resitrader. and was Senior VP of the client solution group at Mortgage Industry Advisory Corp. (MIAC). Alanna McCargoAlanna McCargo

Alanna McCargo was sworn in as Ginnie Mae's 18th President in December 2021. She began her work with the Biden-Harris Administration as a Presidential Appointee in the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as Senior Advisor for Housing Finance for Secretary Marcia L. Fudge.

Ms. McCargo's career in housing finance spans decades and has centrally focused on how America's housing finance system can equitably and affordably serve the capital and credit needs of all households. Prior to joining the Biden-Harris Administration, Ms. McCargo was Vice President of the Housing Finance Policy Center at the Urban Institute, a social and economic policy research firm where she led and developed evidence-based research and analysis on the U.S Housing Finance system. She helped to advance the national policy conversation around reducing racial homeownership and wealth gaps and removing barriers to accessing credit and capital. Ms. McCargo also served as Executive Director of the Mortgage Servicing Collaborative, a cross-sector initiative that identified and developed policy recommendations for mortgage servicing and securitization reforms to enable stability for the housing finance system through all economic cycles. Previously, Ms. McCargo held roles as Vice President and Head of Government Solutions with CoreLogic, a property and mortgage technology and data analytics firm, and she was Vice President with JP Morgan Chase's Home Lending division. She worked for Fannie Mae from 2002-2012 on secondary mortgage market and policy development and programs. While at Fannie Mae, Ms. McCargo worked in partnership with the U.S. Treasury Department at the height of the Great Recession and housing crisis in 2008, executing on the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008, including implementation of new housing and mortgage programs to promote mortgage servicing reforms, foreclosure prevention, and loss mitigation solutions. Prior to joining public service, Ms. McCargo served in her personal and professional capacity on nonprofit boards focused on housing security and affordability efforts including Doorways for Women and Families, Women in Housing and Finance Foundation, and in advisory roles with the Aspen Institute's Expanding Prosperity Impact Collaborative (EPIC) for housing, and with Habitat for Humanity of Washington, DC. Ms. McCargo has dedicated her career to helping households gain financial stability and security and has been an advocate for safe sustainable homeownership and expanding opportunities and choices that help to build credit, assets, and wealth. She has a BA from the University of Houston and an MBA from the University of Maryland. Ms. McCargo resides in Virginia with her husband.​

McCarty began his career at Optimal Blue in 2010, where he first worked on the trading desk, providing lenders with strategic and tactical advice on hedging, position management, profit and loss reconciliation, hedge cost, and margin strategy. McCarty holds a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and a Master of Science in economics. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Jeff was born and raised in Dallas and relocated back to the area 2+ years ago.

Greg McElroy joined AmeriHome Mortgage Company in 2014. Prior to joining AmeriHome, he was an Executive Vice President at Bank of America on the Mortgage Default Servicing Complaint Resolution team, where he focused on regulatory and executive-level borrower issues.

Republic is a past recipient of the “Inc 500 Award” and more recently Republic has been honored by National Mortgage News as one of the Best Mortgage Companies to Work for five straight years from 2019-2023. In addition to her dedication to her company, Paulina has been giving back to her industry for many years. Paulina served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association (TMBA) from 2011-2016 and served as the President of the TMBA from May of 2018 through April of 2019. She was a Board Member of the Community Mortgage Lenders of America (CMLA) from 2009 to 2022 when it merged with Community Home Lenders of America. She now serves on the Board of Directors for that organization. She has been an outspoken advocate for the mortgage industry in numerous articles, op eds, meetings with members of Congress, regulators and presidential administrations. While serving as Chair of the Board of CMLA, Paulina testified before the House Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit in April of 2015 to call for Congress to streamline regulations for community-based mortgage lenders. Nolan graduated with honors from the University of Nevada and holds undergraduate and post graduate degrees in international business and behavioral science (cognitive psychology). Nolan has also completed extensive MBA coursework in International Business at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain and Quantitative Analytics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Nolan has served on countless committees and boards within academia and the mortgage industry. He is a graduate of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) Program, MBA Future Leaders Program, and a Housing Wire Rising Star award winner. In his spare time, Nolan enjoys a host of outdoor activities (hiking, mountain climbing, fishing, snowboarding / skiing, golf) and has traveled widely, visiting more than 92 countries. Nolan was born and raised in the Reno / Lake Tahoe area and currently resides in Southlake, TX.

Yarbrough has 13 years of experience operating in the secondary marketing divisions at Evolve Bank and Trust, Willow Bend Mortgage, Nationstar, Service First Mortgage and Realty Mortgage. Further, Yarbrough has detailed knowledge concerning how to leverage secondary marketing technology to proficiently run capital markets functions. “Paul will play an important role in implementing and training lenders on our secondary marketing technology platform MCTlive!, as well as ancillary solutions,” says Curtis Richins, president of MCT.
